Enjoying the winter season in Asahikawa, Hokkaido Japan. With a visit to the 2009 Asahikawa Snow Festival, packed full of snow and ice sculptures, ice slides, good eats, and lots of people in a festive mood, trying to keep from freezing their fingers and toes off.
