Lindsay Hawkers Killer Caught
In one of the biggest man hunts in Japans history a Japanese man suspected of killing a British girl has been caught, Yes Lindsay Hawkers Killer Caught. A little background for those of you who are not familiar with this story, back in early 2007 a British girl by the name of Lindsey Hawker’s naked body was found buried in a sand/soil-filled bathtub on the apartment’s balcony of Tatsuya Ichihashi. She had been bound and gagged with plastic ties and scarves, with one of her hands lying outside the mixture.
There were reports that a person looking similar to the murder suspect had undergone Plastic Surgery earlier this month, which intensified the hunt. It was reported that Ichihashi had undergone plastic surgery on at least two occasions, in Nagoya and Fukuoka, to remove two moles on his cheek, add a fold to his eyelids, thin both his lips, and to increase the height of his nose. Police released a post-operation photograph to the press which led to Lindsay Hawkers Killer Caught trying to catch a ferry to Okinawa.
This is great news to hear that Lindsay Hawkers Killer Caught and proves to the world that the Japanese police are competent in doing their jobs. Our hearts go out to the family of Lindsay Hawker and hope that they can get some kind of closure now that this monster has been caught.

It took 3 years, he evaded the police the 1st time, lived in Japan for 3 years, had plastic surgery a number of times, (who supplied the money, and who performed the surgery, surely the doctors were familiar with his image?) worked for at least a year on construction using an alias, all the while he was at large, and he was only caught after phoning the police himself, after seeing Lindsey’s mother make an appeal on television.
I would hardly say this evidence: “proves to the world that the Japanese police are competent in doing their jobs”.
Saying that it’s great news he has been caught.
Actually the reason he was caught was from a tip by a lady who worked at the ferry port. He was trying to get a ferry to Okinawa but was at the wrong ferry port. The ferry worker told him the ferry to Okinawa was at another location, when he called a taxi to take him there. The ferry worker noticed the scar on his nose from recent plastic surgery and thought that it was strange to have a small bag for a trip to Okinawa, so she alerted the police and told them where the suspicious man was heading.
The police were waiting for him when he arrived. Not sure where you got the info that he called the police himself, because he felt bad after seeing Lindsay’s mother on TV.
I was beginning to wonder if he had gotten out of Japan.
I suspect that it was the reward that got the plastic surgeons to call the police.
Truly, justice prevails! Even if it took for long years still there’s no crime unhidden. At least there is peace of mind now for the British girl’s family. May she now rest in peace and a deserving punishment for the killer!
