Video Games in Japan

Ending the first week of November brings us the top selling video games in Japan.  What is great is that all of the gaming platforms are on the chart this week. It always interests me in what games are selling the most in Japan, because it seems to reflect the next big hits in the Western world, in fact some of the games on the chart this week have not even been released in the U.S. as of yet.

The leader in sales this week is a game that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago Bayonetta for the Playstation which has sold a combination of 200,000 units for the playstation 3 and xbox 360. So lets get right to the chart of the top selling video games in Japan for the first week of November.

video games is the most valuable business resource we have EVER purchased. Man, this thing’s getting better and better as I learn more about it. If everyone could be as customer focused as you, life would be so much easier.

I saw this story all over the web, and since so many people have posted about it, I decided to leave it alone.

It was basically a mock up though, by a Nico Nico Douga (Japanese YouTube Site) member who married his Nintendo DS “Love Plus” game girlfriend.

In Japan same sex marriage is still illegal, so of course getting married to a non existent person is null and void.. basically it was a publicity stunt.

    But amusing nonetheless.

Thanks for your comment and link to the video Chris D.
