I have this amazing opportunity to go to New York on Friday. I’ve never been outside of Canada. But to do this I might have to resign my job. I work with the government on an intern basis and my program is done June 12. If I go on this trip I don’t get back until June 13. I am asking for a leave of absence, which I believe is fair considering they’ve appoved it for other people in the program earlier in the year. It doesn’t seem right for them to deny it to me just because it’s my last week.
There are many ways for people to be success. But why only several people can succeed with particular ways? I think the tools for success are self-confidence, faith, and hard work.
