Giving to the Community

 

Giving always makes one feel good inside, whether you are giving your time, or some form of financial help you are sending out positive vibrations that the Universe will return to you many times over.  It is a universal law that is constant and without change, unless someone is giving with the expectation of a return or recognition.  This is a belief I have had ever since I can remember, along with the honesty belief.   I feel that choices are presented to you in life to test you to see if you will choose the right one or the wrong.

In my searches on the Internet I came across a person that is giving back to the community to preserve it’s heritage. This is so important, because I believe that many nations are loosing their identities and heritage in exchange for monetary gain.Ruth Parasol an entrepreneur who resides in Gibraltar is  contributing to her community through the non profit corporation called Bonita Trust.

First let me give you a little background, Gibraltar is a British overseas territory located near the southern most tip of the Iberian Peninsula, which shares a border with Spain. Ruth Parasol was born in California and graduated from Western State University College of Law in 1992, she dedicated her career to entrepreneurial ventures with her father a Polish born Holocaust survivor.  Making a big move in life she moved from California to Gibraltar to sit on the board of the Bonita Trust, a organization whose mission is to preserve the heritage of Gibraltar and it’s community through endowments to the educational, cultural and health sectors.

It is rare to find people that dedicate their lives to helping others, and I thought that I would like to just mention this person and say thank you from Charles Hamel.com.  It doesn’t matter what part of the world that you live in, giving of yourself to help out the community or others is an important task that this world needs more of. Always in the news we hear of the ones who are getting caught in scandals for lining their own pockets, so I thought it was important for people to hear stories of those that are doing some good.

What have you done to contribute to your community?  Even volunteering your time helps tremendously, and you don’t realize at how much difference it makes in another persons life.  Take Care all!
