Stan Romanek: True Contactee or Fraud?
Stan Romanek has had a full documented history of encounters with what he claims to be extraterrestrials, in this post I am neither concurring with his claims or calling him a fraud, but merely presenting the information as it was reported, and as in Charles Hamel.com fashion, letting the readers decide for themselves. Most of the people that read my blog know that I have a healthy interest in the UFO subject.
Recently in an interview on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, Stan Romanek claimed that he had captured footage of an alien he videotaped in Nebraska using a camera set on ‘Nightshot’ or infrared. The video shows a being just over 4 ft. tall, with large eyes, peering through a window, he said. He also saw it running away in an inexplicable manner.
Since this claim there has been numerous people create videos of the same type of encounter to prove how easy it would be to create something like this footage, in fact you can search for it on YouTube and find tons of parodies of it, some very funny. But something about this bothers me, because in this time where computers are more and more powerful it is becoming very easy, using CGI to create UFO encounters, just look at the amount of attention the Haiti CGI UFO created.
This is hurting the true investigations of authentic UFO sightings, it seems now unless there are mass sightings similar to the Phoenix lights then the stories are usually claimed as computer manipulations and quickly dismissed. This is a perfect environment for those that do not wish for this type of evidence to be known to the general public (ie. militaries or governments). Truly the arena of UFO research as turned into a circus of clowns that are interested only in creating abductions stories, writing books, and laughing all the way to the bank. The fakers have destroyed the serious and honest researchers, and no one takes them serious any more.
So is Mr Romanek a true contactee or a fraud, his experiences are one of the most documented in history, many times with multiple witnesses. Stan Romanek’s encounters started in December of 2000, and have continued until this current time. He has claims of abductions, physical evidence of photographs, video tapes and documented physical evidence.
There is an ongoing investigation by credible scientists, photo and video analyzers and others who have found many unexplainable things in Romanek’s evidence. There has also been 100’s of witnesses for numerous events that defy our current understanding of reality.

I totally agree with you on this. With today’s technology, it’s easy to simulate stuff.
So in any case, the best people can do if they are truly interested in seeing things would be to head out a couple times a month and observe the sky for a couple hours a night. using only binoculars.
Making sure they have the printed chart of satellites and know what iridium flares looks like, the NOSS satellites, the ISS and other usual sky objects like meteors. Anything else could potentially be one of them
