Summer Concerts
Nothing is more fun than summer concerts, sitting outside in the cool summer air watching a live concert usually sitting on a lawn. In Houston we have a several places that hold summer concerts, some are free and others you have to buy tickets for. The place that we normally go is a place called the Woodlands Pavilion which has a huge grass hill in back and seats in the front. My favorite place is always on the lawn, spreading out a blanket and taking my shoes off and enjoying a great concert.
This summer in July there is a great concert lineup scheduled with the Radio Disney Stars at Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey. My kids enjoy listening to Radio Disney and are familiar with many of the artists that perform there. Some of the stars scheduled to perform are Savvy and Mandy, Raven Symone from “That’s so Raven”, Mitchel Musso from “Hannah Montana” and Drew Seeley.
The concerts on Magic Mondays are totally Free and show times are 1 pm and 4 pm on July 7, 14, and 21, the finale concert will be on the 26th of July at 2 pm and will require tickets through Ticketmaster, but the cool thing is with your concert ticket you will get up to a $15 savings at the amusement and waterparks. This is a great event to plan a vacation around especially if you have young children, there are many great Things to do in New Jersey.
Morey’s Piers is an Amusement and Water Park combo with many attractions situated right on the beach, choose from two water parks “Surfside Pier” and “Mariners Landing Pier” or the Amusement Park at “Adventure Pier”.
