We Are All Blessed
When was the last time that you stopped and took a look at what you had? The way our media is set up, is to show us the things that we lack, and in turn create a desire for things that we don’t necessarily need. It promotes an image that if we don’t have the latest gadget, car or fashion, then we are lacking in life and are poor.
We even go so far as to use our children as a symbol of competitiveness, by buying them the latest “must have toy”. Now by doing this, does it make us feel rich or having a one up on our neighbors, or does it merely highlight our sense of lack? And what kind of lesson is this teaching our children. Trust me when I say it is NOT a positive image to project.
We are saturated by images of our lack in the media. You read it on a daily basis, the small amount of income that pensioners receive, and how they will end up suffering. The fear propaganda of the monetary increase in fuel, which will lead to higher prices in the overall market, which in turn will prevent us from obtaining certain luxuries.
Now these are some serious issues to think about, but we also need to pay attention to the thought process of poverty consciousness. As our fears of lacking grow, we tend to think less of being thankful for the things that we have, and start to concentrate more on the things that we lack.
We should all take the time on a consistent basis to have an attitude of gratitude for the things that we have. People around us respond to the energies that we send out, and the Universe is no different. If we are sending out thoughts of poverty and lack then the only thing that we are doing is creating a magnet out of ourselves for the same. And on the opposite end of the spectrum we have the ability to become powerful magnets for wealth, success and abundance, by the thoughts that we project.
The fear of lack, intensified by the media, creates blockages that blocks the Universe from blessing us with further wealth. These blocks also serve to harden our attitudes to the world and it’s needs, and encourage us to take our lives for granted. Many of us feel that the world is in debt to us, rather than living in harmony and generosity.
What many don’t realize is that generosity is the key to abundance. Living with an attitude of gratitude means living a life of abundance. The more that we stop and count our blessings, the more blessings that we will have. By living our lives abundantly in spirit and action, we attract more abundance. If we consistently focus on our lack, then we will live a life with the perception of lack.
It is easy to have gratitude for the good things that come into our lives, but it is another thing to have gratitude for the hardships that we experience. We all need to realize that every person that crosses our path has a purpose of teaching us something. Sometimes the lesson is like medicine, it might not be a easy pill to swallow, but in the end it is for the betterment of our spirit. So in saying this I am trying to point out that we must learn to give thanks for everything in our lives, the good and the bad.
Living a life of gratitude has a great side effect, it allows us to smile more, and just have a more enthusiastic spirit and experience less stress as we go through life. We all need to realize that we are Rich! Everyone of us! We have been blessed with the most precious gift of all… Life! If we awake each morning with an attitude of gratitude, then the day can hold nothing but wonder, joy and love. Take Care my friends!

Some people only sense what they had if they lose it. However, if you choose to feel gratitude every day for all you are, then its unlikely you will ever experience regret.
