We Made It
Just wanted to let everyone know we made it to Hokkaido. Snowman met us at the Asahikawa airport and took some pictures. It was great to meet him face to face, and I am very anxious to sit down with him and visit. Hopefully that will happen on Friday.
So far Hokkaido is absolutely beautiful, just like I knew it would be. Everyone has been so kind to us, by helping us move and get settled in. We are in our house, and thanks to the community of Shibinai, we have a sofa, table and chairs, beds, TV, carpet, dishes and food. How do you like that for hospitality.
They are so happy we are here, and we are just as happy, if not more. Next step is to get Internet access. We received the bad news that there is no Broadband in Shibinai, although they have a petition in the working to get it. Next week we should be able to get dial up access. I guess dialup is better than nothing.
I will go for now, because I am borrowing Internet access from my sons new school. Take Care all.

Great news about arriving Hokkaido; I’m glad it has been all you had hoped and more. Also thanks again for giving us yet another example of someone following their dreams. It sounds like a great community you have joined there, keep us posted, and I hope they get broadband soon!

The folks in Shibinai, are REAL nice PEOPLE.
Something you will enjoy more and more everyday.
