Growing Up Too Fast (ppp)

We celebrated my youngest sons Birthday recently, he turned 5 years old, but thinks he’s an adult. It seems like just yesterday that I was holding him in my arms, or feeding him in his high chair. They grow up so quick, I feel myself at times wishing my 2 boys were young again. That’s why it is so important to spend as much time as possible with them, while we have the chance.

One thing that I have always been bad with is remembering birthdays, now I can remember my wife and my 2 sons, but anyone else, forget it! What saves me on this bad memory of dates is my computer. You don’t realize how dependent we are on electronics. I can set my calendar now with all of the birthdays, and then make it give me a reminder with an email. Then I can go to the store and look through all of the Birthday Cards until I find one I like.

I have found a service that makes this process even easier, and that is CardsDirect. You can choose from lots of different pictures that relate to the occasion you need, like Birthdays, Holidays, etc. and then personalize it by choosing the colors, fonts, and the message inside. Now I hear the people complaining, Ahh Digital cards, it’s not the same as the real thing. These are the real things. After you personalize it, just how you like, you can purchase as many or as few as 25 for roughly the same price you would pay at the store for a non-personalized card.

BE303_L.jpg I tried it out and choose this picture as the one I liked best. On the inside it says “You deserve nothing but the Best” and then you can personalize it by leaving a message and or a signature.

No more running to the store at the last minute to pick out a card, or if it’s a Holiday choosing from all of the cards that nobody wanted, because all of the good ones were sold out.

I highly recommend that you check them out for all of your greeting card needs. For me, it makes life easier. Take Care all!
