Intuition, Our Connection With The Cosmic Library

Intuition Trust.jpg Have you ever had that gut feeling that you can’t explain? Maybe its a distrust of someone you have just met, or maybe its a feeling that you should drive a different route than you normally do. Could this be a connection of our subconscious to the Cosmic Internet, or Matrix if you will. Researchers at Leeds in the UK say that these feelings are real and should be listened to.

Intuition is the process that our subconscious processes and retrieves information and is a real psychological phenomenon, and deserves further study, to help us understand it more. There are countless recorded instances where people have listened to their Intuition which prevented catastrophes.

Science has ridiculed Intuition in the past comparing it to parapsychology, but there is more to it, than to just dismiss it because it is not understood. Even Einstein was quoted as saying “The only real valuable thing is Intuition”. We are all born with this ability, although we must learn how to use it. Some things that we can do to stimulate the Intuition process is:

Meditation - Spend 15-20 minutes a day taking some deep breaths and basically emptying our minds of all of the clutter.

Ask Questions - Throughout the day when faced with decisions, ask yourself questions and listen to the first thoughts that pop into your head. Don’t rationalize or talk yourself out of your first thought.

Guess Who’s Calling - Practice when the phone rings to guess who is on the other end. This will stimulate the Left Brain Thinking.

Maintain a Dream Diary - This is important because most of the time we forget our dreams by the time we wake up in the morning. By practicing the procedure of writing them down, we can assure that we get the message our subconscious is trying to tell us.

This short list of things when practiced will stimulate the part of the brain that is responsible for the Intuition process, thus making it stronger, and training ourselves to be more perceptive to what it is trying to tell us. It is important to understand that our Intuition is a tool of life and not a way of life, it is not there to replace something, but meant to be used in conjunction with the whole.

Intuition is the basic ability to listen to our self, it is something that can be refined, so that we always know how we are feeling about someone or a given situation. Many people do things, without really knowing why they are doing them, they float through life like a leaf in a stream, at the mercy of the currents.

This simple lesson of listening to ourself is the first step . For many people, it is not a step they ever take. Yet it is the the most important one to take. After that, then you have to start listening to yourself in other situations and find out how you feel there. Then you listen to yourself all the time. Pretty soon, you find that you aren’t just listening to you and you alone. You find that there’s something bigger out there that you’re plugged into and never knew about. Then you are using your intuition more than before.

I am...intuition

Remember, your intuition is a powerful source of information, creativity, guidance, and inspiration. With practice you can tap into your intuition reliably to access information to guide you along the path. Take Care my friends!

Charles. You moved already? I can see you have been working hard here and it looks good. Could I use the top photo on the post I’m doing about your blog here: http://photolinklove.com/2008/03/15/charles-hamelcom-on-the-path/

Feel free to use what you like.

less than 2 weeks left till moving time.

Things are real hectic now. And I am not sure how long it will be until I regain Internet access.

I have been trying to get ahead on posting, so there will be no gaps, but that is not working too well haha.

I will let everyone know when I arrive in Japan.

Take Care

Charles, this is a very meaningful post. I agree the dream journal is a useful exercise each person can do for him or herself. I also share your view that meditation and learning to listen closer to your intuition are useful skills to develop. The more tools you explore, the more you evolve to believe in yourself. I wish you safe travels and look forward to hearing more about your life in Japan.

Thanks Liara

less than a week to go.

Dream journals are awesome. The more I write my dreams down, the more I seem to dream, or maybe remember them. Once you start doing that, you can pick out the patterns, and the meanings.
