Giving Away a Blank Check
A Mystery Man recently gave a couple a blank Check!
An Iowa couple are $100,00 better off after a complete stranger gave them a blank check in a cafe. He told them: “Write any amount you like - I’m good for it.” The couple took him at his word to the tune of $100,000. But they could not believe their luck when the check cleared. The couple met their elderly benefactor in Dr Salami’s Cafe in Pella, Iowa. He first asked if they had any kids. They told him they had a two-year-old. Then he gave his conditions: They were to use the cash to buy a house, never reveal his identity - nor their own full names. And they have to name their next child after him. Alissa and Barry (assumed names) thought it was probably a joke but decided to play along by filling in the amount for $100,000. Barry said: “We decided to give it a whirl the next day, never thinking he was serious - but he was!” The mystery man also left the waitress a $100 tip.
She said: “He is just a nice guy. You never know who is sitting next to you. You never know when you can make a difference to someone else’s life.”
Now we all don’t have that kind of money to give out to others on a whim, but we have other things that can be given that are just as valuable. Random acts of kindness can make a huge difference in peoples lives, and they are so easy to do. A simple thing as letting someone in front of you while driving around on a daily basis. Holding the door open for so>A thing that I used to do quite frequently when I used to drive a lot, was pay other peoples tolls on the toll road. I would simply pay mine and tell the toll booth person that I was paying for the person behind me also. It was fun to watch the person speed up to catch me and flash a smile and a wave of thanks. Not only did it brighten that persons day, but it made me feel good also. Just think of the things a simple act of random kindness could change. What if the person that received the random act of kindness was having a bad day, Don’t you think that something like that could turn their day around?

By sending out good intentions and thought-forms it also affects the creations of our daily experiences. Sending out love and happiness will only lead to a life of love and happiness for ourselves. Its a win-win situation, helping others while helping ourselves. Service to others is the name of the game, and when it is time for the old life review, it will be nice to sit back and watch a movie of Inspiration. Take Care my friends.
