Alert! - Your Not Who You Think You Are!

The Age Old Question: “Who Am I?”

Who are you truly? A very simple question to say the least, yet very difficult and profound to answer. This question tasks the seeker to look within. When someone is asked this question the tendencies are to start identifying yourself with something physical or external. Common answers to the question is your name, where you live, or maybe your profession.

Your identity might be a mother, a husband, a student or an American. Now although all of these terms are physical 3rd density descriptions, they only describe a very minute and temporary aspect of a multi faceted, multi dimensional vibrational being. You are not the clothes you wear, the car you drive, or the name that you were given at birth.

In Identifying ourselves in the physical, we ground our beings and make the journey on the path more difficult than what it should be. Identifying ourselves with physical descriptions keeps us in a pattern of limitations, which in turn has a wearing down of our spirit. I picture this thought process as being chained to the earth.

Spiritual awakening comes about when we surrender what we think we are and allow ourselves to be who we really are. A big change starts happening in our consciousness when we surrender to the core essence of ourselves. In surrendering to yourself choices become clearer, and life becomes simpler in general. We start to realize that when it is all said and done, it doesn’t matter if we are rich, or poor, beautiful or ugly, smart or dumb, and instead of wasting time on combating the negatives of all of the descriptions I just listed, work toward understanding who you really are.

We live in a world of heavily social programming, religious programming, societal programming, and media programming. A world where it is easy to fall out of presence and into unconscious behavior patterns, perhaps by design. Keeping you dumbed down puts you in a state of easy control by other powers.

Now turning this one way train around is not an easy task, and in turn keeps most people from ever even questioning who they are. You can only be in service to others when you are in service to self. Now this sounds a little selfish or egotistical at first, especially when you are trapped into 3rd density thinking.

Being in service to the true self, the god essence or the divine spark of the source that lives within you, is exercising your true power. Because this is who you really are, you are a co-creator in the universe of unlimited potential. It was once said that it is a wise soul that realizes that “Life is a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.”

Make the most of your experience here, and everything that you desire in life will fall into place. Don’t do it because you should or because it is what is expected of you, but do it for the experience, do it for yourself.

Next time when someone asks you or when you ask yourself for that matter; “Who am I?” You can answer with confidence “I AM”.
