I don’t cover the topic of UFO’s on my Blog very often, maybe it’s because of the way the subject is treated. I mean it has gotten better, don’t get me wrong. In the past, someone that claimed to have seen a UFO or god forbid extraterrestrials themselves was decimated by ridicule.
Now days the subject is being taken with much more sophistication and less ridicule. With more and more high profile people willing to step up to the plate and tell their stories of what they know about the UFO Phenomenon, the subject is now being looked at from a scientific standpoint.
The subject has captivated my attention ever since I was a young boy, and really piqued my interest after watching “Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind”. Project Camelot is also doing a great service by posting videos of interviews with people in the know about the subject of UFO’s. The International Press Club held a big conference on the subject last year with some highly positioned government witnesses.
And just released, an article from the Canadian National Newspaper about Ex Nasa Astronaut Dr. Story Musgrave’s experiences with UFO’s. Dr Musgrave explains that during a lengthy flight in Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-80a very strange event occurred that even had crewman unable to explain what they had observed from the shuttle windows.
“A large disc shaped object appeared below the Columbia. The shuttle was approximately, 190 Nautical miles high.”
The disc was first observed to miraculously appear from out of nowhere, flying through the clouds below and progressing from right to left as the astronauts stared in utter amazement. The outer rim of the craft appeared to be rotating counter-clockwise. It was very large (compared to common space junk and breakaway ice), approximately 50 to 150 feet in diameter.

In my mind along with way over half of the population, UFO’s do exist and are visiting our planet, as to the agendas that they possess, that is left to speculation. It is a relief to finally see the subject being looked at from a scientific standpoint, and hopefully gone are the explanations of swamp gas and weather balloons.
