Do We Actually Have Free Will?

While there are many layers to our enlightenment and self realization of our real purpose, there is one subject thats seems to stand out in this thought process.
What is the meaning of true Free will. Do we in fact have free will? Is Free will an illusion? Some things that I have been contemplating as of late on this important subject.
Is it fair to say that we are under Gods great design, and that our lives are in fact part of a greater scheme or a pre-determined path, that there is no deviating from. If this statement is true then Free will is basically an illusion, the final outcome is already set in stone and there is nothing for us to do but to follow the path to the end.
First, lets think about the idea that perhaps we don’t have ANY free will, but in fact the Creator is pulling all the strings and therefore nothing we choose to do is of our own doing, but rather in fact a predestined choice that would happen no matter what steps and choices that we take. For all that matters, we are just a vehicles to an end, a concept created as a tool, to evoke a change that was predetermined, nothing more than a wrench designed to tighten a bolt.
In this scenario did any of us choose to come into existence? How could this be possible before our very sense had come into being. We would have to have been created already. So until the Creator effectively hit the ON switch for our individual consciousnesses, we effectively did not exist.
With this theory in mind, the final effect of our choices seems to be Zero. Nothing we would choose or desire have any effect because it has already been pre-determined, planned and executed outside of any free will of our own.
However, after contemplating this for a while, and while at first it seems to be a very mundane and purposeless life from a personal standpoint, even this scenario, free will still takes on another form… The Free will of the Creator himself.
If we are God, (which I do believe) we are part of him, split off into individual focuses to facilitate experience, then God chose (Via Free will) to become individual selves. In Essence, free will is still a true concept. Because God chose, and though it seems we have no free will, our nature as God means that in fact we have free will though vicariously through his experiences as a whole.
In the end I believe that it is foolish to think that we do not have free will. The destination is not set and there are many forks in the path that we all have to choose either the left or the right. The path can take many directions and therefore we have freedom to choose which path we will take. I think that once we get to a certain vibrational frequency there comes a choice to come back to this 3rd density world for further work.
If there was not free will, I don’t think that there would be wars and starvation. Would a creator with full control let that happen?
I love giving you all little nuggets to dwell on, on a day to day basis. Doesn’t it beat going to work, coming home, watching TV, eating dinner, and going to bed. Only to get up and start all over the next day. Now mentioning a mundane and purposeless life above, this routine seems to fit that definition to a T. Take Care my friends and have a blessed day. You create your own existence!
