Health Care

An important aspect of health care is dental care. This is a true story that happened to me recently, but I will leave out the names to protect the innocent. I started a new job recently and had got to know one of my fellow workers fairly well. He invited me to his house to watch a sporting event, in which I accepted out of friendship. ( I am not a big sports fan) Normally we wear hats at work, so when I saw this person the first time away from work, I almost didn’t recognize him. The reason for that is because he was bald, which I never knew because of the hats, and also he didn’t have any teeth and was not wearing his dentures. Wow, what a big difference in appearance. Now I am in no way taking a shot at this guy, but he looked 15 years older than he really was.
I have always tried taking care of my teeth as best as I could, but age starts to have affect on the teeth. I have been bothered with a few teeth that had become real sensitive to cold. It was even painful to rinse my mouth with cold water. And in the mail out of the blue I received a product sample to try and write a review of it. That product is Biotene Sensitive toothpaste.
You can find this Amazing product at your local drug stores, in fact I saw it in Walgreens today.
Some of the benefits of using Biotene Sensitive is:
- Maximum sensitivity relief
- Helps keep the mouth healthy with salivary enzyme protection
- Contains Xylitol to help fight cavities.
- Controls dry mouth
So I gave it a shot, the first thing I noticed of course was the taste. It had a nice fruity flavor to it…..Not Bad! Next I noticed that it didn’t create a lot of bubbles in the mouth like your typical toothpaste. Good , Bad I guess thats a personal preference. But the most amazing thing I noticed is that my teeth that were sensitive, were no longer that way. Amazing!! I had been suffering with this and never knew there was a toothpaste that could take care of that problem.
The thing that sets Biotene apart from other sensitive toothpaste is that it doesn’t just mask the symptoms, but actually cures the problem. If I had only discovered this a year ago…. Oh well I guess thats what you call Wisdom… Live and learn.
