Your Gift from the Universe
The Universe is bountiful. But for some reason people dwell on scarcity. When I think about it, when we look at life from a position of want we’re always searching for something. Doesn’t it seem likely that if we’re always looking for something, we’re truly never satisfied; even if we do get what we want, what’s the next thing that we’ll want?
I’m therefore grateful for today, whatever this day includes is truly enough for me. And I’ve found that if I look at life this way, I’ll always have more than enough. Of course, some days letting go is harder; I’m still human, but as I start each day I calmly remind myself that as the sun rises and shines for everyone, I should not worry about not having enough.
Live everyday like it’s your last, be totally content with what you have. No one ever promised you a tomorrow.
