Going Against the Flow

Today it is well understood that stress has a negative impact on our physical bodies and our emotional health. But we do not yet recognize the tremendous stress caused by not following nature’s cycles, and that this also leads to emotional and physical illness.
Just imagine the physical stress of walking against the flow of a rushing river. All of life and nature is in continual motion–the moon, the sun, plant growth, cell growth. We must learn to bend in response to the natural forces that are moving us, just as the river, the stars, the moon, the sun, and the wind do. Any attempt to halt the natural rhythm of life will lead to a path of disharmony.
Our bodies are intelligent; it is our egos that are weak and ill.
Our egos live under the delusion that not only can we separate ourselves from nature, but we are in control of nature. This belief is not just wrong in fact, it is killing us. Cancer is prevalent today among people of all ages. Instead of looking at how to kill cancer, why don’t we put our attention and intention to examining what is causing the cancer? Our bodies tell us something is wrong, but we ignore them. We can no longer live our lives from such a deluded place.
By disconnecting ourselves from nature and the earth, the bigger body we live in, we became more and more disconnected with ourselves. As we look at harmonizing with nature, we must look at harmonizing with ourselves. This is all part of the web of life
Our inner world has a profound effect on our outer world. Healing where we are out of harmony with the spiritual part of ourselves and the divine is the biggest key to transmuting illness in us and in our environment.
