Action VS Nonaction

early-routines-cover1.jpg

At the end of the day, you’re going to be more upset about the opportunities you didn’t take advantage of, than happy with the things that did happen. The great meeting with the Venture Capitalists, the winning 3-pointer you hit, or the term paper you aced – will all be small fries compared to the girl with the ‘come hither’ eye contact that you didn’t talk to at your local coffee shop.

The driven, the ambitious, the perfectionists, or anybody in the arena will understand me when I say that the feeling of not living at your highest potential is excruciating; an uneasy feeling deep in your stomach.

So what’s the solution?

Do Uncommon Acts. Be a little silly with a waitress at a local restaurant . Talk to the homeless person outside. Ride your bike to work instead of driving.

Everyone has something to offer. Everyone has something to teach. You’d be surprised at the things you learn when you step out of your comfort zone and stop your routines.

To do an uncommon act, for it’s own sake, is where change, growth and expansion really begin.
