Intentions

A discussion with my wife the other day led to some interesting and provocative thinking. The subject was Intentions, a common theme that has came up over and over again this year for me.
It started with the book, “Think and Grow Rich” then progressed to “What the Bleep do we Know” and further snowballed from there. The Discussion hinged on the question, “If a person does not have any Intentions, What determines his future?”
It definitely got me to thinking. I truly believe that what we think today will result in our future tomorrow. But lets just say that ones mind was clear of thoughts and intentions, who would dictate their future?
I pondered this for a while and came to the conclusion that this person would be like a leaf in the wind. And like a leaf being blown from place to place, never under it’s own control, this person’s future would be controlled by the intentions of others.
It is from intentions that all things manifest. To intend to go to point B from point A will result in the arrival at point B. However, there must be an action. To arrive at point B, there must be action taken at some point.
Everything we lack stems from a lack of intention Be clear about intentions. Intentions are not wishful thinking. Make only intentions upon which you plan to take action.
To walk blindly is not always the wisest decision. The intention of what you are asking for is all important. For that is what you will create. This is what will manifest.

That’s right Charlie.
Unless you live in a monastary in Tibet or some place like that, you need to have intentions in order to have a PATH to walk on, and objectives to think about at all times. A leaf in the wind, goes were the wind takes it. A seed that falls hard onto the ground has a chance to take root and grow into a mighty tree.
See ya all soon,
