Wisdom From Our Elders
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
I have written many times about how I believe that the majority of us have lost touch with the spirit of Mother Earth. How we have lost our connection with our roots, and now take it for granted and actually abuse it.
How we were thankful for our land providing us our bountiful food, and now we just buy it in the grocery store never thinking twice or being thankful of where it came from.
How we were joyful sitting by the flowing streams, and hearing the beautiful melodies they played for us. And now we throw our garbage in them.
How we would get up in the morning and rush outside to take a deep breath and think what a beautiful day, I am so thankful to be here. And now we drag ourselves reluctantly out of bed, and go to a job we hate, to only rush home to get into our house, and do it all over again.
We have lost touch with our spiritual connection with our life giver and sustainer, we abuse her and treat her with content, while she returns unconditional love.
