Need Advice? Just Ask a Child

Living on a day to day basis can be serious work.
Are you the one to get tunnel vision and attack each day as something to “get through” rather than lifting your perception to say “I am so lucky to be blessed to live another day. How much further along on the path can I get? What new adventure is in store for me? How can I make it the gift it really is?”
The two people that remind me of this everyday are my sons, it’s as if they are ancient souls in little bodies.
My oldest one once told me that if we took more time to read a book… go sit in the park…. watch the animals… lay on the grass and watch the sky, we would not let life freak us out…He said that when he does this, then he can hear his little voice clearer, and it clears his mind..
“Things would be much clearer” “When I freak out, I go to my room and read a book, then I feel better.”
Is life freaking you out?
Are you like a chicken with it’s head cut off running around aimlessly or running from imaginary fears?
Predicting doom? (The world will end soon!)
Are you so married to your job, that you have lost sight of who you really are? Not being present with the people and things that really do matter?
Are you so busy solving the worlds problems that you have a let a mountain of your own build up?
Ask a child their opinion.
Have them show you how to color, tell a joke, be creative, play.
They are not just children, but wise spiritual beings on a Journey.
Sometimes, they hear the answers clearer than we do.
All you have to do is ask………
