Home Improvement is a word I am all to familiar with. Over the past year we have completely renovated our house in preparation to sell it. Now I am not the handyman by any stretch of the imagination, and if I had it all to do over again, I would probably pay someone to do it.
I kind of learned how to do a lot of things just by jumping in with both hands and feet. I have found that I like plumbing the least of all. Some of the things my wife and I have done are; Painting the complete inside of the house, installed new vinyl tile flooring in both bathrooms, installed new sinks and toilets in both bathrooms, fixed sheet rock damage, installed new trim, and countless other odds and ends. I think I have become fairly proficient at a lot of these tasks.
Other things that I have accomplished with minor help are replacing eaves around the outside of the house, painting the complete exterior, laying a new ceramic tile (including grout) in the kitchen and dining area, and installing new carpet throughout the entire house.
It has been a lot of work and I hope I will not have to do anything of the sort for a very long time to come. The house is located in Spring Texas and went on the market about a month ago.
Again if I had to do t all over again I would pay someone to do it. Granted I saved a lot of money doing things myself, but I didn’t save a lot of stress and heartache. I did research some companies before I decided to do it myself and one that I really liked was All-Tex. They came with strong recommendations from people I really put trust into.
Some of the services that All-Tex offers are window replacement, siding and Houston painting. All-Tex is the nation’s largest installer of Hardie-Plank siding, and a great company if you are in the Houston, Texas area.
