Global Peace Index
I came across a very interesting study recently called the Global Peace Index. What the study consists of is a ranking of nations in the world by their peacefulness. Most people understand the absence of violence as an indicator of peace. This definition also allows for the measuring of peacefulness within, as well as between, nations. A total of 121 countries were rated with the top 5 coming in as:
1. Norway
2. New Zealand
3. Denmark
4. Ireland
5. Japan
Some other notable ranks is the United States of America ranking at a whopping 96, just one point above our friends in Iran at 97. You can see the complete ranking of all 121 countries at Global Peace Index Rankings.
Peace through war………. Hmmmmm doesn’t make much since does it? Kind of similar to maintaining virginity through sex!
On a better note a friend of mine sent me a very interesting and uplifting email the other day, that contained the subject of Vision Video. What Vision Video is, it’s a process by creating a “clear mental image” of whatever you desire to be, have, and do by making a video of that vision.
The concept is fascinating and I am going to create a video of my own which I will post here for all to see. In the meantime I will leave you one that another person had made. It is kind of like a visual affirmation of the things you want to come true in your life.
