Disclosure
I just wanted to put up a disclosure for everyone to see, of the financial status of this blog. This blog was not created to make a living off of, but I do believe that if it supports itself, then I can continue to do what I like best, and that is to write new content.
For those of you who have self hosted websites, you know that hosting costs anywhere from $8 dollars up to $15 dollars a month to host the website and then the charge to buy your own domain name is usually $6 to $10. And then you must add in Broadband access which is about $30 a month. So that is my output money wise not counting the time I spend.
Now for the amount the blog is bringing in for the month of February Payperpost revenue was $55.15
And the Google Adsense revenue was $6.21
So the blog made a total of $61.36 so if we take the $30 for broadband out and $1 for the host name, and $9.95 hosting, the Blog made a total of $20.21 for the month.
Now breaking that down even further I made 15 posts in the month of February. Divided into $20.21 that equals a whopping $1.35 per article. I should be able to buy that Lamborgini soon haha. But the main point of this post is to let you all know that I don’t do this for a living, this is purely enjoyment for me. I have made a lot of great friends on the Internet because of this Blog, and if that is all I get out of it then it will have enriched my life very much.
I am glad that I found the company PayPerPost to support my blogs
And while I am on the subject if you are a small time blogger PayPerPost gives us little guys a presence on the Internet, I can’t recommend them enough. The company I believe is going to be very big in the coming months, they are already winning awards for best startup and such. As I have said before the only requirements is that your blog be at least 3 months old and have at least 20 posts in the past 3 months. Check them out!
