True Healing
“Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients–without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate’s chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person’s illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved.â€
That’s one of my favorite quotes from Joe Vitale’s forthcoming book “Zero Limits†with Dr. Len. (Joe is well-known for his copywriting skill as well his knowledge about Quantum Physics principles.)
“After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely,†he told me. “Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed.â€

healing
Isn’t that was any healer truly wants? Just immediate and true healing? So many who feel the call to heal spend their whole lives looking for that magic modality… the perfect healing cyrystal (the special one that has true healing power)… the “right†lineage of Reiki (the one that has “better†healing power and teaches the untainted power symbols.) In reality, the power to heal is inside of the healer. It starts inside, the work is done inside, and it ends inside.
“This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: ‘What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?’  “’I was simply healing the part of me that created them,’ he said. I didn’t understand. Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life- simply because it is in your life–is your responsibility.
The weakness caused by belief in duality, begins to lose its hold as a healer allows the old beliefs that “things are the way I think they are†to fall away, and allows a new truth to begin to manifest. The strange thing about it all, is that as long one believes that duality is reality, it truly is reality, and duality is all that can be experienced. The moment anyone begins to truly open his or her heart, the principles of “what the bleep…†and “the secret†begin to unfold automatically.
“If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone, even a mentally ill criminal you do it by healing you.
Do you feel the call to heal, or be healed? What does it feel like when you read that previous statement? How much work have you done inside yourself, today, to heal you (and thereby, whether intentional or not, heal the world?) What if the statement, “peace begins with me†is absolutely literal? If the Buddha and Jesus really did the miracles accounted to them, where do you think the actual healing work was done – inside or outside of the healer?
