I was pleasantly surprised today to receive a gift from one of my readers. It was a book entitled Journey of Self-Discovery it is published by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The person who sent this gift to me is Madhumangala Das from Pacific Beach CA., and I want to say thank you so much for your wonderful gift. I will get started on it right away.
I have always had an interest in all religions and devour most information that I can get from them all. I have also had a interest in the Hare Krishna movement ever since I saw the guys in the orange robes dancing in the streets way back when. I thought they are sure joyful about something and was always interested in what gave them that joy. So now I have some literature to open my mind to that spiritual practice.
Another thing I wanted to talk about tonight is PayPerPost.com which is a company that I came across recently that compensates you for ads on blogs. The reason I love the pay per post idea is because it allows us small Bloggers to get a little benefit from all of the hard work and time that we put in to provide a Free information source to our readers. Now the sites that have 1000’s of visitors a day can make hosting fees back using Google Adsense ads. But us small Bloggers like myself that only receive around a 100 visitors a day need a little help. I had set up a donation page on this Blog to try and get a little help to pay for hosting fees and domain name’s and such, but since I have set it up no one has used it, so I decided to go the Pay Per Post route.
If you are a small Blogger you might just want to check in to the opportunity. The website is PayPerPost.com, you have to go through an approval process and your Blog must be over 90 days old. They seem to be a good company, and are very personable in letting it’s members know what is going on from day to day. If you get the time check out some of their videos they made on YouTube. Search for RockStartUp. 
The Internet and the new ideas that pop up daily and the way these new companies come up with integrating the Net into their companies amazes me, I am always saying to myself “what next”, and PayPerPost is one of them. I guess the biggest reason I love this concept is it give us little guys a fighting chance among all of the big dogs.
This will be a long weekend for a lot of you and then it will be back into the groove. Stay safe this New Years and think of all the things you have to be thankful for and what new adventures and exciting opportunities await in the coming New Year. Take Care all and be safe.

I had the pleasure of reading “The Journey of Self-Discovery” as well. I think it is a very insightful book, however, I really want to reread it since it has been a while and I fear that I have lost some of the meaning of the wise words. However, it is definitely a good book to read.
