Christmas Party
My family had there Christmas party last night, it was a great time and a rare chance that we all get together at the same time. My father lives in South Carolina, while I am here in Houston, so we don’t get to see each other that often. My two sons stayed overnight with him a couple of nights at my Aunt’s house, and really enjoyed themselves. It was a chance for the kids to get to know their grandpa a little better.
We had a great time just sitting around talking and there was enough food to feed an army! I ate until my stomach hurt and then ate some more. I normally am working at this time so we usually open some presents at the party, but now that I have been out of work since October, I have a lot of free time so we will go to my Aunt’s house Christmas day and open all the presents. The kids can’t wait of course.
I will start looking heavily for work again after the first of the year, the savings are starting to dwindle. My background is desktop support, so we shall see what the new year provides. I have faith that something will come along soon. The kids are in bed and the milk and err…. bourbon balls are out for Santa, the house is quiet so I am able to write a bit.
I wish all of my readers a very Merry Christmas and feel so blessed that I have this avenue to express my opinions for those who care enough to read this Blog, it has been a very good year, and I am looking forward to the exciting new adventures coming in 2007.
