Karma
Let me first start off with the definition of Karma: The force generated by a person’s actions held in Hinduism and Buddhism to perpetuate transmigration and in its ethical consequences to determine the nature of the person’s next existence. In other words you do good things, good things will return to you. The entire concept of karma is based on the theological belief in reincarnation.
Even the bible has many mentions of things that can be very related to the concept of karma. The Bible talks a lot about reaping and sowing. In Job 4:8 it says, “Even as I have seen they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.” And in Psalms 126:5 it says, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.” And in Luke 12:24 it says, “Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?” The concept is the same no matter how you look at it. Have you ever seen the person who seems to have a dark cloud hanging over his head? Nothing ever seems to go her way, or he’s the most unlucky person I have ever seen. It has to make you wonder why these things are happening, I seem to attribute it to karma.

Thought’s are Things
Thought’s are things, I know you have heard me say this before, some people create the so called miserable life that they live in. A person who has low self esteem will perceive their life as bad, some people perceive having a lot of money as the means to happiness, despite this flawed thinking we create our own happiness as well as creating our own un-happiness. Let me give you some scenarios to explain this concept. Jabali was born to a very poor family in Nigeria, he went to bed hungry many a nights, never had the chance to go to school, he witnessed many things a child of his age should never have to see from militant attacks to starvation. But despite the harsh upbringing he will still admit to having a happy childhood, because he defines happiness as having a loving family that cared for him despite the harsh experiences he had. And then on the other hand you have people who were brought up with everything they could ever ask for but despite this they are on Prozac, have heavy bought’s of depression and just consider their life bad in general. So it is all a matter of perception.
Conscious
Listen to your conscious, most of the time it will let you know what is right and what is wrong. Have you ever found someones wallet or purse? What do you do? Keep the money and ditch the wallet, keep the money and return the wallet explaining that you found it with nothing in it, or return it with everything intact? You know what the right thing to do is, it seems like there is the proverbial angel and devil on your shoulder telling you opposing things to do. If you choose to do one thing and then feel bad afterwards, then your conscious is telling you that you made the wrong choice. Just listen to what your conscious is telling you and nine times out of ten you will make the good karma choice.
Tests
Life is a test, consider the choices that you have and the crossroads in the journey of life as tests. Will you pass or fail? It should be a goal of yours to pass these Karmic tests, go out of your way to help someone, return something you have found that is not yours, listen to your conscious and reap the Karmic Benefits.
